Handspoken Fair Trade is a nonprofit fair trade shop that has been a proud part of the Lincoln, Nebraska community since it’s founding in 1981. Originally Helping Hands Handicrafts, then Ten Thousand Villages Lincoln, we’re stepping into a new chapter with a new name: Handspoken. We believe that every handcrafted item carries the voice of its maker, sharing stories of community, culture, and connection from one pair of hands to another. Our continuing mission is to bring together global and local communities through fair trade, ensuring that every purchase supports livelihoods rooted in equity, sustainability, and dignity for all.
