This position will be 30-40 hours per week with a flexible schedule, Monday through Friday. Compensation begins at 25 per hour and does not have benefits. This is a 100% in-person [non-virtual] position, based at company headquarters in St. Charles, MO. Ideal start date: This position allows a lot of creativity, fashion, and photography within the warehouse. The warehouse also hosts occasional tours and other activities.

Position Summary:
The Warehouse Operations Manager oversees daily warehouse operations, including inventory management and order fulfillment. Other duties include website updates, staging product photos and posting, and corresponding with online customers. Monitoring and updating inventory online are essential. Occasional managing tours and team building activities. This position is well rounded and not a typical warehouse position.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving and inventory management: Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents against purchase orders or invoices. Unload and unpack items, inspect them for damages, and properly store them in designated locations. Update inventory records and maintain accurate stock levels using inventory management systems.
- Order fulfillment: Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently based on provided packing lists or shipping instructions. Prepare orders for shipment by securely packaging items and affixing proper labels or shipping documentation. Collaborate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Warehouse organization and maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean and organized and maintain the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts. Perform regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counts or annual physical inventories as needed.
- Documentation and record-keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and adjustments. Prepare necessary documentation for outbound shipments, including bills of lading and shipping labels. Complete required paperwork and reports related to warehouse operations as assigned.
- Quality control and compliance: Conduct regular quality checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure they meet the required standards. Document any damages or discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow instructions.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficient in using inventory management systems and basic computer applications.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 40pounds).
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and equipment operation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Interest in or experience with mission-based and/or social impact organizations preferred.
