Join the Fair Trade Resource Network for a casual, fun fundraiser between 5:00 and 6:30 pm. on Thursday, March 26 at Ten Thousand Villages of Portland, 938 N.W. Everett Street.

Help FTRN in their work to educate the public about the need to empower artisans and farmers around the world -- and enjoy free Fair Trade food & drink samples at the same time!  Admire creative, beautiful handcrafts on display from cultures around the globe.  Free print materials about Fair Trade will be available.

A 10-min. presentation, around 5:45, will be facilitated by Jeff Goldman, FTRN's Executive Director and will touch on:

• An overview of Fair Trade
• The latest Fair Trade developments, new products, etc.
• FTRN's Fair Trade education programs, and why we'll ask you to support them

This presentation will be followed by a brief group question & answer period and time for one-on-one chats.
