Conference Awards

The  2010 Fair Trade Federation Awards Program seeks to celebrate contributions in three categories:
  • Excellence in Product Design
  • Best Public Education Program in 2009
  • Most Positive Change Created in a Producer Community in 2009
Nominate your favorite Fair Trade Organization by completing the Conference Award Nomination Form by 5pm EST on April 30, 2010. All are welcome to nominate great Fair Trade Organizations!

Qualifications:
  • Nominee is a Fair Trade Federation or registered World Fair Trade Organization member in good standing
  • Nomination information is received in full by April 30, 2010
Winners receive one complimentary registration for the 2011 FTF conference, graphics for their website and promotional materials, a certificate of appreciation, and other benefits.

In 2009, Federation members were nominated in the following categories:
  • Special Award: Outstanding Service to the Fair Trade Community
    • SERRV International was honored for sixty years of work to eradicate poverty wherever it resides and their contributions to the broader Fair Trade Movement.
FTF organizations were nominated by fellow members, the public, interested retailers, and others and nominations were juried by the conference committee. Winners receives one complimentary ticket to the 2010 conference in Boston, an icon for their website and other promotional materials, a certificate of appreciation, and other  benefits.
