Individuals
interested in the business of Fair Trade are
encouraged to become Fair Trade
Associates. For US$75 / year, Associates
receive updates from the Federation and learn
about industry-wide issues. Benefits
include:
- Invitation to and discounts on the FTF annual conference and other activities
- Access to FairTalk, a listserv sponsored by FTF and the Fair Trade Resource Network
- Networking opportunities with FTF members
- Free printed materials, including a free copy of the 2012 Fair Trade Calendar and a Fair Trade Principles poster, to help you educate others about fair trade
- Regular updates on current happenings in fair trade
Interested individuals should return the Associates
Information Form. Associates status
pertains only to an individual and not to any
business owned by or connected to the
individual.
Non-Trading Partners
FTF
partners with a number of non-profit,
non-governmental organizations that seek to
enhance the Fair Trade movement, but are not
engaged in business.
Through
financial or in-kind support, organizations
work with FTF to
develop of projects, to reach out to the
public, to promote responsible
consumerism, and to further the development of
fair trade and the
empowerment of artisans and farmers worldwide.
Partners also benefit from:
- Listing of logo, organizational description, and a link to their website on the sponsors and partners page of the FTF website by contribution level
- Eligibility to exhibit at FTF events, including the conference (special pricing applies for Principal Partners)
- Eligibility to purchase advertising in FTF established communication channels and at FTF events
- One free copy of the FTF Trends Report
Partnership is segmented into categories:
- $5,000+ - Principal Partners
- $2,000 - $4,999 -Affiliated Partners
- $500 - $1,999 – Partners
In-kind donations may be considered as payment with values negotiated by FTF’s Executive Director and a representative of the partner organization.
